PATIENT FEEDBACK

I recently was seen in the Ophthalmology Clinic and was registered for that appointment by Katy Stone, OSA. Following my eye examine by Dr. Wong, I was again assisted by Ms. Stone who set up a follow-up appointment for next year.

I have been seen in several university clinic sites, but never has entire process from registration, examination by a specialist, and processing after the doctor's visit been more pleasant and done so smoothly.  

If I were to rate the experience, it would be an A+.  Ms. Stone's welcoming greeting and attention to detail in setting up the follow-up appointment added greatly to the overall positive experience. She is to be commended for her concern and engaging presence, enabling her to establish rapport with persons who are seen at the Eye Center. Katy Stone is a true GEM.

Just wanted to let you know that I just called your dept to make an appointment for a pt ……... The person with whom I spoke …..was extremely nice and helpful. Was the most + experience have had making an appt for a pt. since have been at UTMB-and that has been a long time.

I received my contact lenses last Friday and I want to sincerely thank you and your wonderful staff for such outstanding and expeditious service.  My entire experience was excellent….. from the ladies at the front desk, all the way through the end of the process, when I picked up my lenses.  Again – many, many thanks to you and your wonderful staff!!!

This email is in appreciation of the wonderful care and concern you gave to my son ……. . You saw him a couple of months ago…….. I was impressed with your thoughtful and gentle demeanor. You showed a concern without alarming either ……..

Then, by coincidence I met a young woman……She was visiting and staying with a good friend of mine. You came up in our conversation and she had similar WONDERFUL things to say about you as a physician and mentor.

I hope that you will take this acknowledgement in and know that you shine… that you are dramatically different in our changing world of medicine and patient care.

Dr. Godley,

I wanted to let the Chair or Dept. Head of Opthalmology know how pleased I was with Peter Cass.OD………. He was very thorough and explained things as he went and very patient.

I'm so happy that UTMB finally got a OD or Dr.of Optometry. Mr. Cass is very experienced and I feel very confident when he wrote out my new prescription for eye glasses…….

Thanks again for hiring him and I will recommend him to all I know. I'm a recently retired R.N., but still work part time.
