**Laser Assisted In Situ Keratomileusis (LASIK) - is the most common refractive procedure. During LASIK surgery a corneal flap is created by the INTRALASE femtosecond laser. This flap is then lifted and the prescription is treated with the excimer laser on the residual corneal tissue. The flap is then repositioned and the treatment is complete. There are two types of LASIK - TRADITIONAL AND CUSTOM VUE. Each patient will be evaluated to determine which procedure is the best treatment for their needs.
