UTMB Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences Alumni Association
Enthusiasm, a love of ophthalmology and staying connected with friends and associates are common bonds among members of the UTMB Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences Alumni Association.
The association was formed in 2006 to support the needs of ophthalmology residents and alumni and to support the vision of UTMB Health Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences (OVS).
As members, OVS alumni have opportunities to learn about the department's exciting advancements in training, research and patient care.
They also have the opportunity to stay connected with fellow members on Facebook and face to face at American Academy of Ophthalmology annual conferences.
Your Membership Makes a Difference
Members also can support future ophthalmologists with donations to the Resident Lens Fund and the Resident Assistance Fund. Member contributions support the professional development of UTMB ophthalmology residents with financial assistance for examination lens sets, conferences, meetings, textbooks. Our goal is to build this into a sustaining source of financial assistance for UTMB ophthalmology residents.
