Hospital Chapel

Welcome to the  UTMB Hospital Chapel.  .

The chapel is available to everyone and is open around the clock for prayer and meditation, as well as for the scheduled services of worship and prayer. Upon entering the room, one can find the quiet, peaceful atmosphere necessary for meditation, prayer, and quiet reading. A literature rack is located on the West wall with free English and Spanish spiritual literature. Bibles are also available in the room. Please feel free to sign the special prayer request book located on a stand near the entrance. We have several scheduled services.

Upon walking down the main hallway of our hospital, one of the first things one notices is a beautiful stained glass window of our chapel. The stained glass windows  are gifts in honor of Rabbi James Kessler and the Hospital Ladies' Auxiliary. They were created by Mr. William Donaldson of Donaldson Studios here in Galveston.
