Gerald Lewis

Father Gerald Lewis is an Roman Catholic bilingual Priest serving the Galveston area hospitals.  He was born and raised in Panama and enjoys a rich heritage as his father helped build the Panama canal.  After becoming a priest he taught high school in Los Angeles for about 10 years before returning to Panama. In Panama he traveled the hills serving others for around 16 years. Next he served in Louisiana working with the Mexican migrant workers for about 10 years. He arrived in Galveston about 3 years ago to serve the Galveston area hospitals. He teaches piano, enjoys an afternoon of golf and loves to sing and play the guitar.
