Dr. Rowen serves as Assistant Dean for Educational Affairs and the Director of Undergraduate Medical Education; and is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics in the division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland and her M.D. from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Baltimore. She completed her residency at the University of California Davis Medical Center, Sacramento, where she also served as Chief Resident. She completed her fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
