Dr. Ketan Patel is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the division of Pediatric Nephrology. While living in Illinois, he received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at Loyola University Chicago. He went on to earn his medical degree at Chicago Medical School, part of Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in 2005.

After moving to Texas, he completed his pediatric residency in 2008 and pediatric nephrology fellowship in 2011 at University of Texas Medical School at Houston.
Dr. Patel is board certified in Pediatrics by the American Boards of Pediatrics. His clinical interests include renal replacement therapy and hypertension in children.
