Medical Education
UTMB Pediatrics has a long tradition of excellence in medical education.
Established in 1924, ours was the first pediatric residency training program
in Texas. We participate in the education of medical students, residents, and subspecialty fellows; and we provide continuing education and faculty
development for over 40 full-time faculty and over 100 community-based faculty
and preceptors. We are proud to be contributing to the present and future health
for children and families.
