Garafalo Heads NIH Study Section

Roberto P. Garofalo, M.D., professor in the department of pediatrics and the department of microbiology and immunology and inaugural holder of the Sealy and Smith Professorship in Pediatrics, has been appointed chairman of the NIH Study Section on Innate Immunity and Inflammation.

Malloy Named Distinguished Professor

Michael Malloy, M.D., professor in the department of pediatrics, division of neonatology, has been appointed the inaugural holder of the John P. McGovern Distinguished Professorship in Oslerian Education.
