Background
Recently relocated from Loma Linda Medical School in California where he was Professor and Chair of the Department of Basic Sciences to UTMB Galveston where he serves at professor and Chair of the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology. In this new capacity, he will be able to facilitate substantial cross-disciplinary studies important in human health and serve as a mentor for a new generation of scientists.
He has previously served on the Chemical Pathology and Cancer Etiology study sections of the NIH and currently serves as a regular ad hoc reviewer for the NIEHS.
