A brief statement regarding the faculty member's responsibilities:

Mr. Cleveland directs and coordinates health promotion/wellness programs and activities for the employees at UTMB. Additionally, he serves a management consultant for the Alumni Field House where he oversees expansions, equipment purchases, fitness classes and reporting. As Executive Director of the Corporate Health Consortium, Mr. Cleveland oversees projects and meetings that serve to meet the mission of the consortium. Gerald also is an integral part of the institutional "Commit To Fit" task force.

Presentations:

Mr. Cleveland has spoken to numerous national and local groups on the benefits of physical activity, behavior change and stress management.
