Biography 

Dr James Grady received his doctoral degree from the University of North Carolina in 1992 and joined the UTMB faculty in 1993. He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Preventive Medicine and Public Health, Division of Epidemiology and Biostatistics where he is active in research and teaching of Biostatistics courses. He is a Senior Biostatistician in the Office of Biostatistics, a campus-wide resource for statistical analysis and grant development. He is an active collaborator on several NIH grants.  His areas of interest in statistical research include analysis of correlated data from repeated measures and longitudinal studies, general linear models, meta analysis, and design of clinical trials.  He has been the GCRC statistician for 8 years, and served on the GCRC Scientific review Board during this time.
