The faculty of the Space Life Science Division are committed to interdisciplinary teaching and research. Faculty members have backgrounds in clinical space medicine, occupational health, toxicology, sociology, anthropology, psychology, epidemiology, statistics, behavioral medicine, and research design. Areas of research interests include psychosocial functioning and performance in isolated, confined environments, microgravity, space countermeasures, environmental toxicology, preventive medicine, psychosocial stress, and radiation.
