Blackboard Building Blocks

Blackboard functionality can be extended through the use of building blocks. Blackboard Mobile Learn extends the Blackboard platform to mobile devices. You can install an app on your iOS or Android device to access Blackboard from wherever you are. See your app store to download the Blackboard Mobile Learn app ($1.99/yr or $5.99/unlimited).

ConnectYard extends Blackboard by sending announcements and discussion posts to email, FaceBook, Twitter, and/or text messages. The Respondus building block allows publishing exams from a simple to use exam management software. SoftChalk lets Blackboard instructors and designers create engaging Blackboard content easily.
