Development Board
The UTMB Development Board exists to foster
goodwill and be an advocate for the university;
to promote its strengths, address its challenges
and make the most of its opportunities; to
assist UTMB in maintaining a strong financial
position; and to provide counsel on issues,
programs and processes that lead to a stronger,
more efficient and effective UTMB.
President's Cabinet
Formed
in 1993, the UTMB President’s Cabinet is a
unique and distinctive organization, dedicated
to helping advance the mission of one of our
country’s oldest, largest and most dynamic
academic health centers. Membership is composed
of alumni, faculty, staff, university friends
and community and business leaders.
Planned Giving
As a service to UTMB alumni, friends, faculty,
and staff, the planned giving program encourages
individual charitable giving in the context of
estate, and retirement planning. Often this will
include issues related to taxes, increasing
supplemental retirement income, and estate
planning.
Annual Giving
Every year nearly 2,000 students learn and train
on the University of Texas Medical Branch
campus. And each year the UTMB Annual Fund
provides scholarships to many of them.
Office
of Development
Teh UTMB Office of Development works to preserve and
enhance support for the institution among
internal and external constituencies through
communications, relationship building, fund
raising and stewardship.
