Indications
The word "antidepressant" is a bit misleading, since these drugs are used for a variety of disorders in addition to depression. Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), the anxiety disorders, Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD), the eating disorders, neuropathic pain, and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) are all effectively treated with these medications, which could more accurately be termed "neuromodulators".
