COGNITIVE:
  1. Identify common psychological assessment instruments.
  2. Be familiar with the theories of personality development and cognitive disorders.
  3. Identify the purpose of the Rorschach, TAT, MMPI2, FMMSE, GOAT, and FIRO-B psychological assessment instruments that are commonly used to evaluate psychological disorders.
  4. List the common disturbances associated with Organic Brain dysfunction (e.g.: dementia, delirium, Alzheimer).
  5. Define intelligence using IQ testing (Wechsler & Benet Test).
  6. Be familiar with the value of the MMPI2 inventory as it relates to psychiatric disorders.
  7. List the basic defense mechanisms of Freud.
  8. Restate the basic concepts of Dr. Freud on sex, death, and dreams.
  9. Define delirium, dementia, and amnesia.
  10. List common HIV + manifestation of CNS disease.
AFFECTIVE:
  1. Accept that one's view on sexuality has a profound effect on the way persons and psychiatric patients behave and affects quality of sexual health.
  2. Evaluate your feelings about death, love, and sexuality in order to appreciate how hard it is to be objective about ones overall feelings.
PSYCHOMOTOR:
  1. Volunteer to have the FIRO-B test interpreted by the instructor and tell at least 3 classmates how you think these type of personality characteristics influence your life.
  2. Tell a friend what is the difference between delirium, dementia, and memory loss due to normal ageing.
