Class Project Bonus Points Receive up to fifteen (15) points for being the interviewer for a sexual history. Use the sexual dissatisfaction survey as a guideline for your interview. Post on the class bulletin board ONLY the presenting concern and the impact it is having on the interviewees' life as well as specific and detailed comments regarding YOUR reactions to doing the interview. Post your reactions on the WebCT class bulletin board. Postings must be made before November 1, 2001. You must focus your reactions as an interviewer on your self-evaluation of the interview, comfortableness, and the affect that you experienced preparing for the interview and during the interview. Also do a post interview with the interviewee to get their specific feedback (what was helpful, what was not so helpful, for them as the interviewee). The specific details of the interview are NOT important to post for this assignment, but please give the general background. Please choose a volunteer classmate or other volunteer to conduct the interview. Classmates or others should be familiar with the sexual dissatisfaction survey (let them review a copy) and respond with reasonable honesty to the survey, while being videotaped. The interview is not to be used with a real patient that you have no continuing relationship with (doctor/patient). The videotape is to be used by the interviewer to critique their interview style. Your posting should also include your critique of the interview after watching the videotape. This is a VOLUNTEER assignment. Others are also encouraged to post responses to the interviewers comments. Please do NOT give the names of interviewees. The goal for this extra credit assignment is to increase the interviewers comfortableness with the interview questions, interview style and sexual information in general. It is also meant to assist in highlighting what is difficult about these types of interviews and what made the interview go well or not so well.
