Dr. Terry McNearney is an Associate Professor of Medicine, holding appointments in the departments of Neuroscience & Cell Biology, Internal Medicine, and Microbiology & Immunology. She has been at UTMB since 1994. Dr. McNearney’s main interest and time commitment is in research. She sees rheumatology patients only one half-day a week. Her main research project is GENISOS (Genetics vs. Environment in Scleroderma), a study funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
