Dr. Prashanth Sunkureddi is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Rheumatology. Dr. Sunkureddi has a private practice in the Clear Lake area of Houston and is at UTMB on Fridays where he supervises a teaching clinic and sees patients and is actively involved in teaching medical students, residents and fellows. Dr. Sunkureddi completed both his Internal medicine residency and Rheumatology fellowship at UTMB. He is board certified in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine.   Dr. Sunkureddi has received many awards and national recognition, including The 2006 Distinguished Fellow Award from the American College of Rheumatology and the 2006 McLaughlin Travel Award at UTMB. He has conducted a clinical trial, presented research at national meetings and has published numerous papers in medical journals.
