Certified Nurse Midwives & Nurse PractitionersCome join our team! The University of Texas Medical Branch is seeking CNMs and NPs for its Regional Maternal and Child Health Program which provides health care to women and children in East and Southeast Texas. The program's 30 clinics offer prenatal care, family planning, child health, dysplasia, and breast and cervical cancer screening services to women and their families, as well as access to CNM attended in-hospital births.Advanced nurses practice as part of an interdisciplinary team throughout our clinic system and provide around-the-clock staffing for our delivering patients at our main campus in Galveston. Hurricane Ike slowed us down briefly, but our team never quit taking care of women and their families. Creativity and solid cooperative working relationships make this program a model for providing exceptional health care to the women and children of Texas and kept us strong during and after the disaster.
