The SCCCB Real-Time PCR Core has concluded another successful year of service to the research community at UTMB. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the investigators for utilizing the Real-Time PCR Core, which has resulted in publications in top journals such as Oncogene, JBC, etc.  We promise to continue to provide quality and prompt services at excellent prices to our customers. We would like to encourage those investigators who have not used our services to check this website or contact us to learn more about our services.  The Real-Time PCR Core also provides quality ABI products with low pricing through the ABI freezer program.

The Real-Time PCR Core is available to the entire UTMB community on a fee for service basis and is under the direction of Dr. Lisa Elferink. Assistance is provided by Dr. Nonggao He. Services provided include probe and primer design and order, preparation of real-time PCR reactions and data analyses for gene expression (DNA and RNA samples), allelic discrimination as well as microRNA, etc. Interested investigators can contact Dr. Elferink (ext.22775, laelferi@utmb.edu ) or Nonggao He (ext. 71981, nhe@utmb.edu).
