The SCCCB Real-Time PCR Core has concluded another
successful year of service to the research community at UTMB. We would like to take this
opportunity to thank all of the investigators for utilizing the Real-Time PCR Core, which has
resulted in publications in top journals such as Oncogene, JBC,
etc. We promise to continue to provide quality and prompt services at excellent prices to
our customers. We would like to encourage those investigators who have not used our services to
check this website or contact us to learn more about our services. The Real-Time PCR Core
also provides quality ABI products with low pricing through the ABI freezer program.

The Real-Time PCR Core is available to the entire UTMB
community on a fee for service basis and is under the direction of Dr. Lisa Elferink.
Assistance is provided by Dr. Nonggao He. Services provided include probe and
primer design and order, preparation of real-time PCR reactions and data analyses for gene
expression (DNA and RNA samples), allelic discrimination as well as microRNA, etc. Interested
