International Science Outreach Program International Collaborative Program The objective of this program is to promote the development of new and innovative collaborative projects between established foreign scientists and scientists at the Sealy Center for Environmental Health & Medicine (SCEHM). The development of the collaboration is based on a one-on-one interaction between the two scientists who have complimentary expertise and common research interests. Our long-term goal is the development of funded and sustainable collaborations on environmental health among international scientists around the world. Interested foreign scientists are encouraged to review the expertise of scientists in the SCEHM and select the specific laboratory or interact with them directly for opportunities to develop collaborative programs. A proposal for the collaboration should be sent from the foreign scientists to Dr. William Au (contact information listed at bottom of page). The proposal should include the following items:
Successful applicants will be provided with a fellowship of approximately $3,000 that will defray the cost for the travel and stay in the US. Salary will not be provided. The duration of the visit is expected to be between 2 and 3 months.
