The purpose of this year's educational activity is to enhance the knowledge of the registered nurses in the area of school health nursing and practice through the following objectives:
- Discuss an innovative approach to adapt evidence-based family life and sexual health education curriculum.
- Describe best practices of sepsis related to prevention, recognition, and management among school age children.
- Recognize school health implications associated with clinical manifestations of common versus serious skin conditions.
- Differentiate the causes of abdominal pain and indications for referral.
- Discuss updates regarding the impact of e-cigarettes and vapors among adolescents.
