Project overview:

Project 1 explores the relationship between neighborhood context and measures of health among Hispanics. The project involves secondary analysis of geo-referenced data to study multi-level linkages including neighborhood ethnic and socio-economic characteristics and health risks, health outcomes, and mortality. The project has a specific focus on the Hispanic population, in comparison to the non-Hispanic white and non-Hispanic black population. In addition, this project examines and conducts population-based studies of cancer treatments and treatment outcomes, especially toxicity from treatment, focusing on ethnic differences.
