Project 3 - Community Health Improvement Project
Specific Aims
- Increase use of recommended cancer screening procedures in targeted population groups
- Reduce stage at which breast, prostate and colorectal cancer is found in targeted population groups
- Determine minority group decision-making factors (socio-cultural) regarding cancer screening
- Determine barriers and facilitators to timely use of cancer screening and early detection services
- Increase participant knowledge of importance & availability of community cancer screening programs
