Recruitment from within registry:
Determine by reviewing the Subject Information Form whether your study criteria are included. If so, potentially eligible persons will be contacted either by the Registry or investigator by mail to determine interest and eligibility in the study.
Community at Large:
The Registry will also help researchers with recruitment of subjects by either providing names of newsletters and places to advertise or by submitting announcements and making presentations for the researcher.
Information articles about your research may be submitted to the Registry for publication in the Registry's newsletter.
Subjects complete a Subject Information Form. This information is entered into the Clinical Research Center (CRC) database which is accessible to designated staff of CRC and Center on Aging. Information is released only to investigators with IRB approval. They must agree to keep information confidential and not to release the names to any other persons.
