UTMB will celebrate Employee Service Day on May 9th, when 1,899 employees will receive their service pins. Collectively, these recipients represent 22,540 years of service to the university and its mission. The service pins are presented in five year increments, with 50 years being the longest tenure honored at this ceremony.
The ceremony will be held on Thursday, May 9th at noon in Levin Hall Main Auditorium.
Light refreshments will be served afterward in the Levin Hall Dining Room.
Recipients will receive an invitation through campus mail with instructions regarding the pick-up of their service pin.
The public is invited to join the party as the honored employees receive their service pins in a noon ceremony in the Levin Hall Auditorium. The university will also honor 578 GEM recipients. These employees have been singled out by their peers for "Going the Extra Mile."
