Office of Academic Support Services and Career Counseling

The primary mission of the Office of Academic Support Services and Career Counseling is to enhance students' academic performance and personal well-being, promote student excellence, and advance medical students' career goals. The staff serve as student advocates; working with individual students to prevent, identify and  resolve academic or personal issues and problems that may negatively affect a student’s academic performance, personal health, and/or quality of life. The proactive philosophy which drives the programs offered by the Office of Academic Support Services is preventive in nature and inclusive.  Services are made available to all medical students based on need. All services are provided at no cost to the students
