You will be able to access the Exchange Email Server in a number of ways:
Outlook Web Access provides access to e-mail, personal calendar, group scheduling, and collaboration applications. Web access requires a browser that supports frames, Java controls, and JavaScript. Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.03 and Netscape Navigator 3.0 or later will work. Note that for Windows 3.1 dialup users, the Microsoft TCP/IP dialer from Internet Explorer 3.03 or higher must be used. No special installation is needed and dialup use is simplified because an ordinary PPP connection can be used.

Microsoft Outlook 97/Outlook 98/Outlook 2000/Outlook XP
Outlook is Microsofts primary messaging and collaboration client. Designed to be a LAN email client for Microsoft's Exchange Server, Outlook is part of the Microsoft Office family of programs.
Outlook 2000 and Outlook XP are installed from the Microsoft Office 2000 and XP CD's respectively.

Outlook Express is installed with Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0x and Microsoft Office 98 for Macintosh. Outlook Express works with any Internet email system using POP3, SMTP or IMAP. It supports e-mail, news and directory clients.

Netscape Navigator (not the basic navigator) and Communicator have a built-in POPmail client.

POPmail Clients
Any POPmail client should work with the Exchange Mail server. The basic installation settings are using popX.utmb.edu (see below) for the POP server name and smtp.utmb.edu for the SMTP server name. Your utmb-users-m username and password are also required to setup POPmail.
