A 27 year UTMB Tradition continues...
UTMB Welcome Weekend is a fun and informative event that is hosted by the Office of Student Life. Welcome Weekend showcases the UTMB culture, provides opportunities to build peer networks and introduce new students to UTMB leadership and community businesses and organizations.During the day's events, incoming students will hear from fellow UTMB students and leaders. At the morning welcome session the Office of Student Life and the Student Government Association will let you know what is available to you as students. You will also hear about the UTMB and the Galveston culture and experience. Students will be given all the "need to know" information when they meet with some continuing students during the Peer Roundtables. During the Community Fair they will get to talk to student organizations, local businesses, churches and religious organizations and other vendors. They will finish the day with a Lunch and Casino Mixer. During lunch students can visit with their new friends and join in the fun with casino style games, music and socializing. There will also be a chance to win some great prizes!!

Please note that the UTMB Parking Office will be on site during the morning check-in time as well as the Casino Lunch mixer so students can purchase parking or pick up pre-purchased hang tags. The hang tag pick up line will be much faster than the line to purchase. It is highly recommended that if you are going to purchase a parking permit, you do so prior to Welcome Weekend.
