Student Legal Services

A licensed attorney, Jennifer Smith, is available to provide legal information and advice to students. She is available to meet with UTMB students on Thursdays from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. She can provide information and counseling regarding a variety of legal matters. Appointments may be scheduled by calling the Office of Student Life at (409) 772-1996.

Legal services are available at no cost to currently enrolled students at UTMB. Student Legal Services is limited in matters of litigation and cannot represent or advise students against UTMB or another UTMB student. As part of a public institution, Student Legal Services cannot make specific referrals to private attorneys.
