Outstanding Service Award
sponsored by the Office of Student Life and the Student Government Association

Eligibility:  Students in good standing, enrolled full-time at UTMB in any school.

Requirements

Essay:  Each applicant must submit an essay (500-1000 words) on the topic, “A Philosophy of Service", exploring their philosophy on, and experiences with, service to others, specifically as it relates to civic responsibility and community involvement

Personal Data:  A complete CV should accompany the essay.

Cover Page:  A short application page will serve as a cover sheet; click here to download a .doc version of the application page.

Letters of recommendation:  Each applicant should provide two letters of recommendation; at least one should be from an individual with intimate knowledge of their service activities.

Award:  plaque and $500 award.
