SGA Intramural Basketball

Registration for the 2010 Student Government Association Intramural Basketball Leagues is now open. The registration forms can be picked up at the Office of Student Life, Room 2.134 in the Jamail Student Center, or printed out at the links belowl. The leagues are open to all students, employees, and retirees of UTMB. Also, spouses and/or significant others, children (over the age of 18) of those people are also eligible to play, however, each team must consist of at least 25% students.
Fees: $50.00 for every team plus $15.00 for each non-student player on a team. Two $25.00 forfeit checks are also required. Forfeit checks are held and will only be cashed if a team has to forfeit a game.
All forms, waivers and fees must be turned in together at the same time. All forms must be completed when turned in. Registration packets must be turned in to the Office of Student Life by 5:00 pm on Monday, January 11, 2010.
Registration deadline: Monday, January 11, 2010
Mandatory Coaches Meeting: Thursday, January 14, 2010 in the Senate Room (2.112) in the Jamail Student Center (Every team must have a representative at the meeting).
Play begins:
Coed - Tuesday, January 19, 2010 (this league will normally play on Monday, but the first week is a holiday)
A League - Wednesday, January 20, 2010 (this league will play on Wednesday nights and Thursday nights if needed)
All games will be played at the UTMB Alumni Field House gym.
The end of the season tournaments will be held the week of March 15 - 18, 2010.
