QUEST Expectations

Our goal at QUEST is to connect incoming students to campus networks which promote personal, social and academic success. Many participants express a sense of connectedness and acceptance after attending QUEST weekend.

The following expectations have been implemented to create a better overall experience for all participants:

Alcohol and Illegal Drugs- For obvious reasons, the presence/use of alcohol/or illegal drugs is not permitted at anytime.

Tobacco Products-Upon considering the health risk to all participants, tobacco products are only permitted in designated areas. The Entire UTMB campus, inside buildings and on all campus grounds, has been designated non-smoking.

Foul Language-Inappropriate slang words, racial slurs, derogatory comments, etc. will not be tolerated.

Cell phones-Cell phones may only be used at designated times and in the event of an emergency. QUEST staff reserve the right to ask you to end your phone call if not in compliance. Students are encouraged to spend their time investing in new friendships rather than on alternative communication.
