All Schools Orientation

Orientation is an ongoing process that begins when a student decides to attend the University and continues throughout their first year.

UTMB’s All Schools Orientation will aid in the adjustment and success of entering students by:

  • facilitating the transition of new students into the institution as a whole;
  • educating new students on the mission and core values of UTMB;
  • preparing new students for the institution’s learning opportunities; and
  • initiating the integration of new students into the intellectual, professional, cultural, and social climate of the institution.

"All-School" Orientation is the first Monday of Orientation week: August 24, 2009.

2008 "All Schools" Orientation Schedule - All Schools Orientation includes events for new students in all four of the schools at UTMB. It includes a welcome by the Dr. David Callender, President of UTMB, introduction of the Deans, introduction to school policies, information about University Student Services and a segment on Diversity.

Each school has a schedule for its own students.

Please feel free to call the Student Services Office at (409) 747-4820 or send an email to Johnny Scott  if you have questions regarding the All School Orientation.
