Suggestions sought from advisory committee at meetings February 21, 2006 & 9/25/06.  Program suggestions incorporated into future wellness series scheduled. 

 

 

 

 

93% of responses were a 1 or 2

Students reported at meeting 9/25/06 that they appreciated that their suggestions were used to plan Wellness Series programs.  They especially noted the outreach fairs and program on skin cancer.

The advisory committee met 9/25/06 and reviewed FY 06 SGA survey results and the student wellness response. 

 

 

 

 

 

83% of students responded agree or strongly agree to this question.

Psychiatrist time was increased to 5/hrs week in March 2006. 

Outreach efforts have been increased; an open house was held in September 2006 to provide more student exposure to services offered; a passive outreach program is being developed.

 

Advisory committee was asked to provide suggestions for improving the student satisfaction with services meeting their needs.  Suggestions are to be provided by 10/15/06 and another meeting will be scheduled for November 2006.

An update will be provided to this item in December 2006.

Advisory committee suggested at 10/24/05 meeting that outreach PPD placement and reading might increase student compliance of annual PPD testing and decrease placement of holds for students not complying.

PPD outreach was provided April 4 & 5, 2006 and 40 students had a PPD placed.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The response to comments from the SGA survey may be found on the student wellness web site.  Issues raised included access – scheduling changes have been made to accommodate more appointments each day; slow service – staff inservice has been provided and a concerted effort made to see students at their appointment time and to provide the highest quality customer service. Progress on resolving these issue wil be monitored monthly using the student wellness exit survey.
