Who is eligible for Counseling Services?

We generally provide services to matriculated UTMB students and their immediate family members. If we determine that an individual needs services which are beyond our scope we do our best to coordinate referral. However, we cannot be financially responsible for any services received outside Student Wellness. Persons eligible for services include:

• UTMB students from any of the four schools (Allied Health, Graduate, Medicine and Nursing)
• Immediate family members of those persons.
• Students from Galveston College health sciences programs that have paid the Student Wellness fee.
