Welcome to Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

Zygoma Implant Course

The Division of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at UTMB is pleased to present a Zygoma Implant Course October 16-17, 2015 at the UTMB Health Specialty Care Center, League City Campus, 2240 Gulf Freeway South in League City. Severe maxillary and mandibular atrophies are a true challenge to dentistry - they result in: uncomfortable dentures, patients carrying bags of dentures, ill-fitting prosthesis producing ulcers, limited mastication and speech, and diminished quality of life. New evolving technologies allow patients with no teeth, no bone, and no gums to have teeth in a day (and permanent teeth between 6 and 8 weeks later). Registration fees for this course are $2,000 for surgeons and prosthodontists and $500 for residents. For more information please visit our web page or contact Cheryl Kernan at chkernan@utmb.edu or call 409-772-1546.
