Earth Day 2008 - Earth Day Swap Shop - Friday, April 25

The Swap Shop allows UTMB employees to donate surplus supplies from their offices and take supplies back with them. It’s fun and easy way to save the university money while helping the environment.

Swap Shop is a wonderful way to diversify recycling at UTMB. The Earth Day Committee encourages employees to do spring cleaning and collect unwanted office supplies. Participants do not have to contribute supplies to take supplies. However, since Swap Shop items are considered state property, participants are asked to commit to using supplies for UTMB purposes.

Swap Shop volunteer opportunities are available.

Online Swap Shop - Year Round Opportunity
UTMB’s Online Swap Shop offers members of the campus community a way to offer others at the university their surplus supplies and materials. Equally important, it offers individuals and offices in need of something a way to find it for free on campus, before making a purchase. In times of tight budgets and state financial deficits, every bit helps.
