Clinical and Community-Based Interprofessional Education
We will develop interprofessional educational experiences in the hospitals, clinics, classrooms, and community to promote mutual understanding of disciplinary roles, collaboration in planning patient care, joint accountability for decision making and outcomes, and the benefits to the patient and the community of interprofessional collaboration.

The concept of quality enhancement is central to the accreditation principles of the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).
Core Requirement 2.12
The institution must develop "a carefully designed and focused course of action that addresses a well-defined issue or issues directly related to improving student learning."
• The plan is based on a comprehensive and thorough analysis of the effectiveness of the learning environment.
• The plan is part of an ongoing planning and evaluation process.
• The QEP is intended to be customized and designed to meet the needs of the particular institution.
