Faculty Interprofessional Education Pilot Study Funding
A funding opportunity to support innovative interprofessional education
Through synergy, the UTMB venture in Interprofessional Education, a unique funding opportunity has been created for faculty. UTMB faculty members may now submit proposals for funded interprofessional education pilot studies. synergy encourages educational innovations that will have a long lasting impact on interprofessional education at UTMB. To this end, synergy will provide pilot study funding to develop new courses and activities, or develop new modes of interprofessional instruction and collaboration. During the 2011-2012 academic year, awarded funds will be transferred to the department where the faculty member is conducting the pilot study.
Funds will be available during the 2011 - 2012 Academic Year
Each pilot study proposal should include all of the following information:

Timeline and Process
Amount: Proposals may not exceed a requested amount higher than $ 2,500
Number of awards: a total of four proposals will be funded.
