Invention Disclosure Form: Word
Signature Authority: Inventors
When you believe that an invention has been created, complete the “Invention Disclosure form” and submit it to the Office of Center for Technology Development. Documentation of an invention begins with the inventor’s research notebook, and continues with a completed Invention Disclosure Form. This form tells the University what the proposed invention is, who performed the work, what percentage of contribution each made, and where the money that supported the work originated. It is an important contribution towards getting your idea into the patent process, and should be prepared carefully and completely, and each inventor must present a witnessed signature. The Invention Disclosure form helps the office in evaluating the invention and in developing a plan for patenting and commercialization of the technology. |
