The UTMB Office of Community Outreach coordinates institutional tours. The purpose of the UTMB Public Tours Program is to provide special interest groups and the general public with an inside view of UTMB and the university's important work in patient care, research and education.


Escorted Tours
Rosenberg HouseDuring fiscal year 2003, guided tours were conducted for 1595 visitors from the United States and around the world. Guests included scientists; physicians; other health care professionals; state, national and foreign dignitaries; community leaders; potential benefactors; managed care purchasers; high school groups; and college students.

We offer guided tours for groups of 30 or less, including:

  • High School and College Students
  • Community Organizations
  • Visiting Professionals/VIPS
  • Faculty Candidates

Please allow eight weeks advance notice when requesting a tour.
