Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership
The Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership, or BAHEP, is a member-driven organization that provides the leadership to stimulate regional economic development and employment. Utilizing a collaborative committee structure, we engage more than 260 investor companies, business professionals, local governments, and educational institutions, in southeast Texas, to bring about prosperity and a high quality of life for the 1.5 million people who live and work in the region. Our members include aerospace, petrochemical, and healthcare companies, developers, bankers and real estate brokers, 13 cities, Galveston and Harris Counties, and the Port of Houston Authority.

Galveston College
Galveston College provides the citizens of Galveston Island and surrounding region with academic, workforce development, continuing education, and community service programs.

Galveston County Economic Alliance
The Galveston County Economic Alliance is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to establish Galveston County as the premier location for families, businesses and industry through planned economic growth and development.

Galveston Independent School District
Established in 1884, Galvestonís public schools were initially governed by the City of Galveston until 1949 when the Texas Legislature created the Galveston Independent School District for the express purpose of providing a free public education to the children of the community. GISD offers a variety of programs for students. Services include dual credit courses with Galveston College, a nationally recognized Advanced Placement program, bilingual and English as a Second Language curriculum, a two-way immersion program for elementary students learning English and learning Spanish, special education programs, an Accelerated Instruction Model (AIM) program, preschool program for children with disabilities, student assistance program and tech prep initiatives with Galveston College.

Houston Independent School District
The Houston Independent School District is the largest public school system in Texas and the seventh-largest in the United States. Its schools are dedicated to giving every student the best possible education through an intensive core curriculum and specialized, challenging instructional and career programs. HISD is working hard to become Houstonians' KĖ12 school system of choice, by constantly improving instruction and management to be as effective, productive, and economical as possible.

Howard Hughes Medical Institute
The HHMI grants program fuses teaching and research, reflecting the Instituteís commitment to inspiring and educating a new generation of scientists. HHMI funds initiatives with the power to transform undergraduate and graduate education by engaging students in discovery research. We seek opportunities to create connections across a continuum of learning that extends from the primary grades through high school and beyond and includes activities to increase diversity in the scientific workforce and promote scientific literacy in society.

La Marque Independent School District
The Marque of Excellence began in 1943 when voters approved the incorporation of its community school system into the La Marque Independent School District.

Moody Gardens
Moody Gardensģ is a public, non-profit educational destination utilizing nature in the advancement of rehabilitation, conservation, recreation and research.

NASA's vision: To reach for new heights and reveal the unknown so that what we do and learn will benefit all humankind. To do that, thousands of people have been working around the world -- and off of it -- for 50 years, trying to answer some basic questions. What's out there in space? How do we get there? What will we find? What can we learn there, or learn just by trying to get there, that will make life better here on Earth? Throughout its history, NASA has conducted or funded research that has led to numerous improvements to life here on Earth.

Region 5 ESC
Region 5 Education Service Center, where Education Professionals Serve Education Professionals. Region 5 ESC is excited about the many opportunities to assist districts in their quests to help every student succeed. The 80,000 students of the 35 districts in our Region 5 area are indeed fortunate to be served by the talented and dedicated educators of Southeast Texas. Region 5 ESC will devote its operation to the purpose of helping each school educate its students so as to assure their success in our society.

TAMUG offers ocean-oriented, four-year courses with excellence in business, oceanographic and physical sciences, biological sciences, engineering and transportation and liberal arts. Degrees are awarded from Texas A&M University.

Texas High School Project
A unique public-private alliance, the Texas High School Project (THSP) is dedicated to ensuring that all Texas students graduate high school ready for college and career success and prepared to be contributing members of the community.

Texas Regional Collaboratives
The Texas Regional Collaboratives for Excellence in Science and Mathematics Teaching is an award-winning statewide network of sixty-five P-16 partnerships that provide sustained and high intensity professional development to P-12 teachers of science and mathematics across the state.

Texas State University - San Marcos
Texas State's 32,572 students choose from 97 bachelorís, 89 masterís and nine doctoral degree programs offered by the following colleges: Applied Arts, McCoy College of Business Administration, Education, Fine Arts and Communication, Health Professions, Liberal Arts, Science and Engineering, University College and the Graduate College.

UTMB Office of Education Outreach
UTMB Educational Outreach is dedicated to service and achieving excellence by increasing the availability, interest, application and relevance of science for students, K-12 educators, and the community through a wide variety of science education programs.

Workforce Solutions provides comprehensive human resource services for businesses and residents of the 13-county Houston-Galveston Gulf Coast region. Workforce Solutions helps employers solve workforce-related business problems and area residents build careers, so that both can better compete in the changing worldwide economy.
