Dr. Davenport is a native Texan who holds a bachelor of science degree from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. She earned her medical degree and completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. During her final year of residency training, she served as Administrative Chief Resident. She is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Dr. Davenport is married with 2 children and resides in Galveston.
