Some of the more common symptoms that often bring women to a urogynecologist include:
- Incontinence of urine or feces
- Interstitial cystitis
- Pelvic organ prolapse
- Fistulas
Our urogynecology team is headed by two board certified, fellowship-trained subspecialists in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. In our outpatient setting; they are equipped to perform extremely specific and sophisticated tests which can help diagnose a wide variety of urogynecologic problems.
Diagnostic tools include:
- A thorough physical exam utilizing a precise scoring system to record each individual’s particular anatomy
- The latest and most accurate instrumentation to perform:
- Urodynamic evaluation
- Endoanal ultrasound
- Cystoscopy
- Transurethral injection of bulking agents
Following a complete evaluation, our physicians will tailor a treatment plan based on their findings and your wishes. If needed, a certified physical therapist is also on-site to teach
you how to treat your condition using exercises.
