                        Kathleen M. Griffis, M.D.
                        Assistant Clinical Professor

Dr. Griffis graduated cum laude with a degree in chemistry from Florida State University.  She earned her doctorate at the University of Florida in Gainesville and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Jacksonville, Florida.  

Dr. Griffis served as an officer in the American Women's Medical Association in Florida.  She was vice chairman of the Department of Ob/Gyn in Virginia, where she had a private practice prior to relocating with the Women's HealthCare Group in January 2001.  Dr. Griffis is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.  She is married with three children and resides in League City.
