The 2008 You Count! Employee Survey

Below is a list of useful tools and information you can use for assistance with the You Count! employee survey.


Toolkit 2008 

*      Survey administration period:  February 11 – Feb 29, 2008

*      You Count! Participation Goal – 65%

*    Create “friendly” competition among divisions and/or departments with prizes for the winners

*    Dedicate time by aligning with other meeting (before/during/after) to complete the survey

Track your department’s participation (Departments with less than ten employees will need to call 409/747-6700 to get participation results).

*      Your Roles & Responsibilities:

·      Encourage participation as their commitment is to make UTMB a better place to work.

·      Ensure confidentiality, honesty and integrity in the You Count! process.

·      Manage marketing/communication process for an entity/department/division.

·      Communicate honor pledge in all communications: “The You Count! survey exemplifies honesty, confidentiality, and integrity in accordance with UTMB’s Professionalism Charter.

·      Reinforce anonymity and confidentiality.

·      Ensure employees understand they will receive the You Count survey through their email accounts. They complete the survey by going to the website link from the email invitation that is sent to them by Watson Wyatt Worldwide. Employees should not email their invitation to other employees. If an employee loses his/her invitation, call 409/747-6700 and we will notify Watson Wyatt Worldwide to send another invitation.

·      Interpret results, develop action plans and monitor progress.

*      Other Roles & Responsibilities:

·       Prepare  surveys

·       Tabulate responses

·       Submit anonymous, summarized results to UTMB 

*      UTMB survey administrator

·       Manage survey preparation process

·       Manage marketing/communication process

·       Prepare results for executive leadership and dept management

*      HR Consultants

·       Assist in survey preparation process

·       Manage marketing/communication process with customers

·       Assist customers with interpretation of results and action plans
