for his leadership on global public health issues\, as well as for his pa
ssion for ending epidemics and life threatening diseases in Africa.  \
; He is a virology professor and the former Vice Chancellor for Redeemer's
University in Nigeria\, as well as the Past President of the Nigerian Aca
demy of Science. \; He has collaborated for more than four decades wit
h scientists around the world\, including many UTMB researchers studying t
he most dangerous and deadly diseases on the planet\, including Polio\, La
ssa\, and Ebola.\nIn this special presentation\, Dr. Tomori will share a h
istorical perspective on the viruses of Nigeria\, including the barriers (
and solutions) to collaboratively solving deadly health issues. \; His
talk will touch on medical\, cultural and political factors.\nEveryone is
